Responsibilities:

● Lead the development of new generative AI and LLM applications from concept to

production using open-source models.

● Architect and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable Python code for complex

AI systems.

● Collaborate with data scientists, and engineers to design and optimize algorithms and

models.

● Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in generative AI and LLM technology.

● Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

● Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, documentation, and best

practices.

Qualifications:

● Extensive expertise & experience in Python, ideally 8+ years, with mastery of FastAPI,

asyncio, websockets, and ast

● Good / Great experience with HTML / CSS / plain Javascript

● Great experience with SQL (MySQL)

● Knowledgeable on best practices for the full software development life cycle, including

coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing,

and operations in Python.

● Familiarity with generative AI models, particularly LLMs, and a passion for pushing their

capabilities is a plus not a hard requirement.

● Experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/continuous

delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (Github / Github actions (We use Gitea, an open source

alternative to Github aiming to mimic Github. Exact same syntax as Github Actions for

Gitea Actions, and so is the overall interface))

● A solid understanding of web development principles, from databases and APIs to

frontend integration.
